The flat zonal flow from west to east is due to the ever present high pressure dome over the western Atlantic near Bermuda. The Gulf of Mexico is being tapped into to produce the strong tornadic weather across the Southeast USA. Look for this to continue with only a weak front passing through come Friday. An east to SE windswell/ground swell will build further through the rest of the week. We could see a clean South swell for Friday. It could get fun before the winds shift north to NE on Saturday. Ciao.
